Dr. Pulikkottil was accepted into medical school directly out of high school, enrolling in the competitive Early Admission Program at Siena/Albany Medical College. Afterward, he completed an elite five-year Residency in General Surgery at Rutgers University.
Over the next few years, Dr. Pulikkottil performed in-depth research in the field of facial and hand transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh.
